Siam Park starts the summer season with 4 important awards. The Biosphere Park certifies its environmental commitment and support to the tourism destination. This award was announced by the Institute for Responsible Tourism (ITR), affiliated to UNESCO, which grants this quality seal to the best places to visit in the world, according to the ratings and the highest standards of sustainability and respect for the environment. In addition to this important accolade, Siam Park is also certified with the ISO 9000; ISO 14.000 and EMAS certifications, absolute proof of its real commitment to the highest quality in the tourism industry.
These awards are determined based on the efficiency of the enterprise, the excellence of its facilities and its responsible attitude, through which it influences and motivates the visitors to get involved in the care of the destination. Siam Park also fulfills a fundamental premise of the biosphere parks: to ensure the exercise of the important role of conservation of biodiversity and, in this case, the welfare of the animals such as sharks, sea lions and tropical fishes that live in Siam Park.
These 4 new awards are in addition to other awards obtained by Siam Park, and that throughout its nearly 6 years of existence it has established itself as a leading park, and revolutionary in the field of theme parks with water attractions. The waterpark has also received the “Travellers Choice Award” from Trip Advisor as the best waterpark in the universe.
Siam Park was inaugurated in 2008 by the Princess of Thailand Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, and is part of the company Loro Parque, whose seal of quality and excellence has been recognized on numerous occasions throughout its 42 years of existence.
