Siam Park celebrates its 6th birthday with more than four million visitors which have enjoyed its installations. Numerous national and international awards mark out the Siam Park with its water attractions as the most spectacular and modern theme park of the world. In this sense, the water kingdom has been recognized on several occasions, by experts from the leisure sector, as well as by the visitors themselves, who have evaluated and voted on Trip Advisor for Siam Park as the best water park in the world, being awarded in this way with the Travellers Choice Award 2014, among other establishments with hugely bigger investments.
Almost 6 years have passed since the princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn from Thailand visited Tenerife in order to inaugurate the Siam Park, the most innovative water kingdom which quickly developed into the best free time activity in the South of Tenerife. This is proved by the numerous visitor comments from different countries, who write every day their opinions on various platforms and the more than 95.000 fans who have Siam Park on the social network Facebook. Many celebrities from the show business and the world of sports, such as Pedrito, Michel Rodríguez, Javier Bardem, Sergio Rodríguez, Marcelo and DiMaria have enjoyed the facilities.
Exciting slides and magical attractions, together with mysterious places surrounded by rich vegetation and the biggest artificial wave of the world, develop this park into an unforgettable place which can be visited at any time of the year thanks to the mild climate of the Canary Islands.
Since its opening in 2008, Siam Park is considered as the best water park and fosters Tenerife’ image as a destination. The Siam Park offers an extensive range of activities and novelties for the whole family. Excellent installations, the technical complexity, the ecological awareness and the different recognition received during this time are the key factors for its international position as one of the best water parks in the world. Among the most important recognitions are the Award as The Best Waterpark in Europe during three consecutive years (2012/2013/2014), and also for the most outstanding attractions such as The Dragon or Kinnaree. Siam Park has also received recently the Biosphere Park certificate given for its environmental commitment and its support to the destination as well as the standards with ISO 9000; 14.000 and EMAS for its commitment to the highest quality in the industry.
Furthermore, Siam Park has high standards regarding environmentalism just like the Loro Parque and uses newly developed technologies for each detail. These philosophies as well as the strong environmental awareness represent the main factors for its leading position in the world. And all that after only 6 years.
